Digital preservation

The journal Obras y Proyectos implements protocols and services that enable the integration with external system, repositories, databases and indexing tools, assuring the proper exposure of databases, content traceability and compatibility with nation and international academic information infrastructures. As well as it applies protocols to ensure the preservation of the digital content.

Digital Preservation policy

The journal Obras y Proyectos is part of the Public’s Knowledge Project’s Private  LOCKSS Network (PKP-PLN), that generates a fully decentralized system, distributed across different collaborating libraries, with the aim of creating permanents documents of the journal and, thereby, preserving the original contents and enabling its restoration when necessary.

Furthermore, la Universidad Católica de la Santísima Concepción as the publishing institution it has established internal processes of synchronous backup of the journal’s content across the journal servers.
