Intellectual Property and Open Access Policy
The Journal Obras y Proyectos is a diamond open-access publishing model, which means the authors are provided with a cost-free platform to disseminate the findings and offers readers open access to all content without Article processing Charges (APC) charges, with the aim of promoting the access to the universal scientific knowledge and fostering its global exchange.
All the published manuscripts in the journal remain the responsibility of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the views of the editorial team.
The Journal Obras y Proyectos is published under the terms of the Creative Common Attribution 4.0 International license (CC BY 4.0) . In this way, this license ensures proper attribution to the authors while clearly establishing the right of third parties to reuse, adapt and cite the work.

Conflict of Interest Policy
The Journal Obras y Proyectos establishes strict criteria to prevent conflict of interest throughout the manuscript reviewing process.
The author must submit a fully anonymized version of the manuscript that does not disclose the identity of the authors, institutions, individuals or funding sources.
The journal employs a double blind peer-review process,, which promotes objectivity throughout the process, since neither the authors nor the reviewers will know each other’s identity.
The Journal guarantees that all anonymized communication among authors and reviewers complies with appropriate academic standards for the provision of comments and evaluation on submitted manuscripts.
The journal guarantees there are no conflict of interest in the peer-review process, for this purpose the following criterias has been established:
- The reviewers selected by the journal have experience and must have previous scientific publications about the selected topic.
- For the purpose of starting the peer-reviewing process, the manuscript will be checked to ensure compliance with the double blind review requirements will be verified.
- Based on the reviewers’ comments, a consensus will be reached with the editor to jointly determine whether the manuscript is accepted without revisions, accepted subject (minor or major) by the authors or rejected. The authors will be notified of the final decision by the editor.
- The authors must obtain all necessary permissions to disclose any other information including the name or reference of other entities or individuals. Furthermore, authors must clearly indicate any relevant prior results used in the research, as well as the appropriate informed consents. They must also mention or acknowledge directly to the funding sources and all the individuals that have collaborated with the research development.
