Inbreeding Policy
Obras y Proyectos, in accordance with the academic publishing policies of Universidad Católica de la Santísima Concepción, promotes diversity and openness in the authorship of its publications. As part of its continuous publication model, the journal ensures that the proportion of articles authored by researchers affiliated with UCSC does not exceed 10% of the total number of articles published over a rolling 12-month period.
All manuscripts are assessed exclusively on the basis of their scientific quality through an external double-blind peer-review process. The participation of authors affiliated with UCSC, including members of the editorial team, is subject to the same evaluation criteria and strict requirements for transparency and editorial independence.
The journal continuously monitors this indicator and implements the necessary measures to ensure compliance with nationally and internationally recognized standards of quality and best practices in scholarly publishing.
