Self-archiving policy
The Journal Obras y Proyectos acknowledges the importance of the preprints as a legit practice of scientific communication thereby facilitating the early dissemination of knowledge and fostering academic dialogues. Nevertheless, according to its double-blind peer-review policy and consistent with the editorial of the educational sciences-area where previous dissemination throughout preprints is still developing and it is not an extended practice -, the journal receives only previously unpublished manuscripts that have not been disseminated in preprints servers. This decision is intended to ensure the impartiality of the evaluation process, to prevent any potential interference with the anonymous peer-review and ensure that the manuscript is the first formally academic publication of the journal.
Following the completion of the editorial process, the authors may deposit the accepted manuscript or its final version (postprint) in institutional or subject-specific, provided that the original publication in the journal Obras y Proyectos is clearly and fully indicated, in accordance with the license under the content is distributed.
In this way, the journal seeks to balance the open dissemination of scholarly knowledge with strict compliance to established ethical standards for academic publishing.
