The purpose of this research was to assess how the incorporation of crushed glass (CG) influences the physical-mechanical properties of subgrades. Three soil pits were excavated to obtain samples. The results of the laboratory tests revealed that, in terms of liquid limits (LL), plastic limits (PL), and plasticity index (PI), our standard soil and additions at different percentages of CG showed no plasticity N.P. The standard soil exhibited a maximum dry density ρdmax of 2.00 g/cm3, an optimal moisture content wop of 10.3%, a CBR(95%) of 33.6%, and CBR(100%) of 53.5%. Adding 5% CG resulted in ρdmax of 2.08 g/cm3, with wop of 10.0%, CBR(95%) of 46.3%, and CBR(100%) of 62.1%. The addition of 6% resulted in ρdmax = 2.13 g/cm3, wop = 9.8%, CBR(95%)= 50.8%, and CBR(100%) = 62.1%. Finally, adding 7%, ρdmax = 2.11 g/cm3, with wop = 10.2%, CBR(95%)= 42.9% and CBR(100%) = 54.8%. In conclusion, it was found that the most effective addition ratio is 6% of crushed glass.
