Impacto de la energía de activación en la estimación de la resistencia a la compresión de hormigones masivos

El objetivo de este estudio es analizar el impacto de la energía de activación en la estimación de la resistencia a la compresión del hormigón masivo. Para ello, se confeccionó un cubo de hormigón G-35 de arista 1,0m., el que fue monitoreado con sensores de temperatura impermeables DS18b20 a distintas profundidades. Se registraron las temperaturas de cinco sensores durante 28 días en intervalos de recolección de información cada 15 minutos. La resistencia a la compresión de laboratorio fue medida en probetas cilíndricas para edades de 1, 3, 5, 7, 14, 21 y 28 días en el caso del hormigón patrón y en el caso del bloque de hormigón masivo su resistencia se determinó mediante testigos. Los resultados permiten apreciar una mayor precisión en la estimación de la resistencia a la compresión al utilizar los métodos asociados a energía de activación. Entre ellos destaca el método de Nielsen-Kaasgaard con un error menor al 2% y se obtuvo una menor precisión en las estimaciones realizadas con el método de Nurse-Saul al reportar errores del orden del 5%.
